This 8” x 14” 20-ply hybrid shell snare drum is a welcome addition to the complete line of PDP offerings. The ultra-thick shell is made with 16 plies of European maple at its core and 4 plies of walnut both inside and outside. Outfitted with a dw MAG throw-off and 20x distinct dual-turret lugs (brass inserts), this snare produce a fat, throaty sound with a pronounced attack. Lots of horsepower available here if necessary!
True Pitch fine-tuning tension rods.
Natural Walnut finish with chrome hardware.
